Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed and services are provided. There is a plan of operation in place for children with Epinephrine Pens. LPA reminded Program administrator to complete a plan of operation for children with prescribed inhalers as well. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.

LPA encouraged the Program Administrator to the visit the department's website at WWW.CDSS.CA.GOV for information regarding child care updates, forms, regulations and legislation pertaining child care centers.
LPA spoke with the Program Administrator regarding the incident that occurred on 07/26/2019, in which a child was injured after falling from a play structure. LPA observed the area on the playground where the accident occurred to assess risks.
This facility evaluation report was reviewed and discussed with Director. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and should remain posted for a period of 30 days for parental review.
In the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed at the time of the visit.
