Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Amanda Blesi and Katrina Owens met with teacher Sofia Ramirez for a random annual inspection. Director Rachel Peters showed up later during the inspection. This facility is located on Lincoln Crossing Elementary School grounds in the multipurpose room and library (as needed). The facility operates Monday through Friday from 6:30am - 6:30pm. The facility provides snacks for the children.

LPA toured the facility including all activity/classroom areas, the isolation area and food service area. LPA reviewed care and supervision of children, staffing ratios, health related services, furniture, equipment, drinking water and food service provisions. There were 10 school age children present supervised by three staff. The facility uses the elementary school playground and the elementary school bathrooms.

LPA reviewed the children's Identification and Emergency Information. LPA reviewed personnel's education and immunization requirements. All staff currently employed with the center have criminal record clearances and are associated to the Oakhills S.T.A.R. #313600444 waiver on file. At least one staff member present today has current EMSA approved Pediatric/Child CPR and First Aid.

This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. Mandated Reporter Training
LPA advised the Director on the new regulation AB 1207- California Child Care Worker: Mandated Reporter Training. The licensee and staff must complete the training every two years starting January 1, 2018 and retain proof of completion in the facility file. The training can be taken online at: mandatedreporterca.com. LPA observed staff have completed the training.

Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiencies are cited during today's inspection.

Licensing report was reviewed and discussed with director. Copy of Appeal Rights left with Center Representative/licensee.
