25 | On Friday, 12/04/2020 at 11:30am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Amanda Blesi met with Center Manager, Jessica Anaya, to conduct a case management inspection regarding a self reported incident received by the department on 11/24/2020. A tele-inspection was conducted due to COVID-19. A census was taken which included 14 school age children supervised by 2 staff.
LPA interviewed assistant director, Vanna Le, teacher Ms. Natalie, Center Manager, Jessica Anaya, and parent of child #1 who stated on November 23, 2020 at around 1:30pm, a group of 6 school age children were playing a game of hide and seek tag on the playground. The group of children were supervised by 2 staff. Shortly after the game began, Child #1 informed teacher Natalie that another child had touched them inappropriately while being tagged. Teacher Natalie pulled the two children aside to discuss the incident. It was determined Child #1 had been tagged "in the swimsuit area" by child #2. The teacher then talked to the whole group to remind them to keep their hands to themselves and be respectful of other's personal space and provided pool noodles to use for tagging instead of using hands.
LPA has investigated this incident and determined there are no deficiencies being cited today.
