25 | An unannounced case management inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA's) Owens and Blesi for the purpose of a capacity increase on the preschool license. LPA's met with the Director, Janet Molinari. Present at time of inspection were 66 preschool children with 11 staff.
The facility is requesting a capacity increase of 12 additional preschool children; totaling 108 preschool children from 96 preschool children. The facility will be omitting their toddler option program.
Director acknowledge that the following documents must be posted at all times: License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Personal Rights, Parents' Rights Poster, menus, and daily schedule. LPA discussed the forms that must be in each child's and each staff member's file. The facility will be providing two snacks and lunch. The facility will operate from 6:30 am to 6:00 PM, Monday thru Friday.
LPA toured the facility inside and outside. LPA's measured the room that will be utilized by the increase of capacity for the preschool license. There are 8 toilets, two urinals and 10 sinks for the children, and a separate private restroom for the staff. There are age appropriate items in the classroom; table and chairs, and space for children belongings. There is enough napping equipment present and a changing table next to a sink.
Total indoor square feet for the 12 additional preschool children in the (old toddler classroom ) measured 785.65 sq ft that will accommodate the additional 12 preschool children. There were no changes to the current 3 preschool classrooms.
OUTDOOR SPACE
Outdoor space was previously measured on 3/27/2017 at 28,405 square feet. This measurement will accommodate the requested capacity. Continued on next page. |
