Licensing Program Analyst LPA Jeremey McClain met with Applicant Amandeep Purewal for the purpose of an announced pre-licensing, change of ownership inspection. The applicant is requesting a preschool license with a toddler option to serve a capacity of 29 preschool children from ages two to six, and 12 toddlers ages 18 to 36 months. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

LPAs provided LIC311A and explained which documents must be posted. The facility will serve morning and afternoon snacks provided by parents on a rotational basis, and children will bring their own lunches. A fire clearance was granted for the facility on 05/24/2019.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The facility consists of an open indoor space in two separate buildings. LPAs observed a space to store napping mats, cots, and children's sheets. There is a refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink in the kitchen; the kitchen will be off-limits to the children. LPA observed the first aid kit and observed that cleaning disinfectants are inaccessible to children. Water is available at the facility and children will bring water bottles for outside use.

The total indoor space was measured, and contains a total of 1,650.85 square feet, which will accommodate the applicant's request for a capacity of 41 preschool children. There are three toilets and four sinks for the children, and a separate private restroom for the staff. Children who become ill during the day will be isolated in the office area and will use the staff restroom if necessary.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The outdoor activity space was measured. The outdoor play area contains a total of 6,158.13 square feet, which will accommodate the applicant's request for a capacity of 41 preschool children. Both outdoor play areas are fenced and are equipped with age-appropriate equipment. There are shaded areas supplied by trees.
