25 | Application Specialist (AS) Seychelle De Luca and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tanya Washington met with Applicant Marriah Pearson and Director Sue Stewart for the purpose of a second announced prelicensing change of location inspection. The facility is currently licensed under facility number 310321428. Applicant requests an infant license to serve 18 infant children from birth to two years old. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
AS and LPA toured the entire facility indoors and outdoors. AS and LPA observed changing tables have been installed and are within arm's reach of the sink. AS and LPA observed a functional carbon monoxide detector in each classroom, disinfectants and cleaning solutions are inaccessible and appropriately stored, and outdoor fence is installed. AS received the fire clearance on 12/12/2019.
Applicant stated they are not installing another toilet at this time. During today's inspection, Applicant provided AS with an updated application, decreasing the preschool capacity by six children. Applicant's updated request is for 138 preschool children, 24 toddlers, and 18 infants. The facility has 12 toilets and 20 sinks, which allows for a maximum total capacity of 180 children.
Director will video call AS and conduct a final walk through of the facility. During this video call, Director will also show proof that water pitcher and cups are in each classroom.
Once AS confirms completion of all classrooms, the facility will be licensed to serve 18 infant children. |
