25 | On 7/9/24 at 11:45am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Erica Laird. At 12:15pm the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 12 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 6:30am-5:30pm, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are middle bathroom, back bedroom, playroom closet, and all out buildings, and were made inaccessible by gate, fence, and lock. The children use the back yard and front yard as the outdoor play area. The front yard is not fully fenced. Licensee understands 100% supervision must be maintained whenever children are outside in unfenced areas. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard. There is an empty hot tub that is non-operable and in the process of being hauled away.
5 children's records were reviewed at 12:10pm. 2 staff records were reviewed at 12:17pm. There is currently 1 adult living in the home.
There were no deficiencies cited during today’s inspection.

Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
