On 03/30/2022, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Karrene Phillips and Samuel Lopez conducted a Case Management inspection at the licensee representative request to change rooms from Room 9 to Room 11. The fire clearance was completed on 02/10/2022. During today's inspection, LPAs Phillips and Lopez met with Early Childhood Services Specialist, Luz Romero, whom provided access to the campus and classroom. There were no children at the facility due to staff professional development day.

Preschool (Room11) Indoor Activity Area
LPA has determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate 25 children.

Preschool Bathroom Fixtures
1 Toilet x 15 = 15 children
2 Sinks x 15 = 30 children

* Waiver request for shared usage of bathroom located inside the library will be submitted.

Preschool Outdoor Activity Area
LPA has determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate the requested capacity. The existing play structure was observed in good repair. The play structure continues to have sufficient cushioning material underneath the entire surface. Although there is a sufficient amount of square footage for the requested capacity, and an existing waiver is on file for the shared playground with Special Education; Ms. Romero inquired about using another playground due to overflow and will submit a waiver.

Limiting factor for preschool capacity is the fire clearance granted. Preschool capacity is limited to 23 children.
