25 | An informal office meeting was held at the Riverside Regional Office (RRO), August 1, 2019. Present in the conference were Licensee Margarita Cardenas, Licensee’s Assistant (Daughter), Lissete Garcia Licensing Program Managers (LPMs) Dawn Parker and Telma Sandoval, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ana Noble, Otsanya Cameron and Lakesha Edwards. The purpose of the office meeting is to discuss the following:
· Over Capacity 2019
· Out of Ratio 2018
· Hazards in the home, accessible to children
· Records-Paperwork
· Safe sleep/personal rights/use of a car seat
Provided during office visit was Safe Sleep, Safe Sleep Campaign Provider Information Notice (PIN).
The following plan of action, due September 1, 2019, was reached and agreed on during this meeting:
· Licensee agrees to watch child care resource videos related to Supervision, Capacity and Ratios and Locks and Inaccessibility Requirements in Child Careand submit a statement that the videos were watched and understood. https://ccld.childcarevideos.org/.
· Licensee agree to contact Resource & Resource, Early Care and Education (RCOE), Division of Early Learning Services, Riverside County Office of Education, (760) 863-3345, to obtain one on one training regarding the above listed issues discussed and submit a statement of completion obtained by RCOE.
LPM Parker discussed the importance of being in compliance at all time with Title 22 Regulations and keeping hazards inaccessible to children in care and how she intends to ensure she doesn't operate over capacity and out of ratio. As a result of this informal conference, Licensee Margarita Cardenas, informed the Riverside Child Care Regional office that she understands that she must maintain full compliance with Title 22 regulations. An Exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was issued to Licensee Margarita Cardenas |
