32 | · Uncontaminated drinking water shall be readily available both indoors and out and provided by Sparkletts filtered water and sippy cups brought in by children.
· The areas around or under high climbing equipment, swings, slides, and similar equipment shall be cushioned with material that absorbs a fall: Facility has wood chips and artificial turf. LPA observed the outdoor area to be surrounded by shaded sidewalks and seated benches.
· Sign in/Sign out record was reviewed and meets regulation requirements. The agency uses the bright-wheel software app for parents to sign in/out of daycare. On 08/04/2022, the LPA S.Brewer, observed the facility using tracking parents sign-in/out their children on a written log, due to the internet not working at the start of the day, which was in compliance.
· A Staff member is present with current Pediatric CPR/First Aid which expires on 03/2024
· Opening and closing staff member’s CPR/First Aid expires on 03/2024
· Director completed Health and Safety Training on 08/08/2020
· Staff qualifications and files were reviewed and are complete on 08/04/2022.
· Staff have received on the job training for housekeeping, sanitation and universal health precautions

· Documentation of fire & earthquake drills to be conducted every six months: Last drill: Fire drill conducted on 01/27/2022, 1:45 PM evacuation to the field, with 4 classrooms and lasted 12 minutes. On 03/09/2022 an emergency lockdown drill was conducted for Rooms 101-108, which lasted 22 minutes.
· AB2370 – Lead Exposure, day care facilities, effective January 1, 2019 – The director Erin Fonda, stated that the facility has scheduled inspection for lead testing on 08/11/2022, at 7:00 AM.
The bill requires that all Child Care Centers, operating in a building constructed before January 1, 2010, shall have their drinking water tested for excessive lead levels, on or after January 1, 2020, but no later than January 1, 2023. Child Care Centers must thereafter test their drinking water every five years after the date of the initial test.
