On 07/20/2022 at 11:50 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) LPA Susan Brewer, arrived at the facility for the purpose of conducting an Annual Inspection which turned into a Case Management visit. LPA was greeted by the licensee Alecia Ashcraft, and granted entry into the facility. A COVID-19 pre-screening was conducted and licensee stated that there are no concerns at this time. LPA took a census and present was the licensee, 2 resident children and no daycare children were present or enrolled as of today's date. No inspection was conducted. The licensee has requested to Inactive Status, completed the LIC9211 for dates beginning July 20, 2022 through July 19, 2023, at which time the licensee will determine if they can operate. Consultation was provided for updates on Infant Safe Sleep and Mandated Reporter Training requirements for daycare providers. The licensee stated she is aware of stipend and COVID-19 information for licensees.

The licensee Alecia Ashcraft, understands that they will not provide child care for which a license is required until the license is reactivated. The licensee agrees to continue to pay for annual licensee fees and will be in compliance with all licensing laws and regulations upon re-opening the facility and will inform the office of any changes. The Licensee Alecia Ashcraft, was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

No citations issued and No civil penalties issued.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

LPA S.Brewer conducted an exit interview where the report was reviewed with the licensee Alecia Ashcraft, and a copy of the report was provided on today's date.
