32 | · Mandated Reporter Training expired on 01/2022. During record review, Licensee was unable to provide proof of updated Mandated Reporter Child Care Providers (AB1207) training certificate. Licensee stated they would retake the AB1207 training and provide proof of completion.
· Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expires on 09/11/2024.
· Health & Safety Certificate - completed on 05/22/2016.
· No bodies of water at this time. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position.
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys.
· Current roster on file.
· Documentation of fire and disaster drills not on file – Licensee stated that last drill conducted last month but that the fire/disaster drill was not recorded. Licensee agreed to conduct a new fire/disaster drill and record the drill.
· Children’s records are complete.
· Employee’s records are not complete. Licensee was unable to provide proof of updated Mandated Reporter Child Care Providers (AB1207) training certificate.
· During facility tour, LPA observed the bathroom toilet seat in disrepair. Licensee stated that a new toilet seat has been obtained and will be changed over the weekend. Licensee also stated that various objects in the bathroom and in the walkway to the bathroom will be removed over the weekend as well.
· During facility tour, LPA observed two play pens with non-tight fitting sheets, blankets inside, and one playpen with a hanging object over the play pen. No infants or children observed in the playpens during this visit. LPA advised Licensee on safe sleep regulations. Licensee stated the sheets would be removed from the mattresses and Licensee immediately removed hanging object from the playpen. Additionally, Licensee stated that the blankets are used to help children fall asleep but are removed once the children are fully asleep.
