25 | The licensee has applied to increase her capacity to that of a Large Family Child Care Home.
A fire inspection has not been received as of today. Licensee stated the fire inspector was at facility and approved fire clearance. A license will not be approved prior to receipt of approved fire clearance. LPA and licensee conducted a tour of the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed:
Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Saturday from 6 AM to 6:00 PM
Off-limit areas include: All of the bedrooms, master bathroom and garage.
·Appropriate smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are present. Smoke detector and carbon
monoxide detector were tested by the licensee during this inspection and are in working order.
· All hazardous items inaccessible-hand sanitizer is accessible to licensee but not to children.
· Toxins locked
· Off limits areas have been made inaccessible
· Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made
inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations.
· Storage of poisons is inaccessible to children and locked
· Verification of control of property on file
· Facility Sketch and Emergency Disaster Plan are posted
· Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card - expires 9/18/23
· Health & Safety Certificate taken and current
There are no bodies of water as of date of this inspection. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools and spas, in-ground pools and spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per title 22 regulations. |
