32 | The preschool Classroom #1 is equipped with age appropriate toys, furniture and cubbies to store children's personal belongings. Both classrooms contained a total of 1895.009 square feet sufficient for the requested capacity of 54 children. Both outdoor spaces were measured and contained a total of 13,850.688 square feet which also meets the requested capacity.
Program will be providing breakfast, lunch and snack. Facility has a drinking fountain in classroom #2 and will be using sippy cups for younger toddlers. Classroom #1 will have a pitcher and paper cups for drinking water until the water fountain is repaired. Executive Director indicated that a paper sign in and out system will be utilized. There are no firearms or bodies of water on the premises. LPA observed a functional smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Licensing Staff provided the Executive Director with a list of required documents for staff and children's records. LPA also requested a Director's packet who is assigned for this site which will be submitted by Monday 12/16/2019.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services (IMS). For IMS information, see "Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Section 102417" in the Evaluator Manual. Licensing Staff discussed and provided the “Effects of Lead Exposure” brochures and advised the Site Supervisor to share the brochures with parents. LPA discussed Safe Sleep and issued the Healthy Schools Act survey. Licensee's capacity request is granted effective 12/13/2019, an updated license will be mailed upon return to the office. Notice of Site Visit was posted and should remain posted for 30 days for parental review. No Title 22 deficiencies are observed during the inspection.
