25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kyrsten Williams and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Natalie Dunaway met with Site Supervisor Ryan Suarez, Director Tonya Vorobets, and Business Admin Heather Le Monte for a case management inspection to add a Toddler Option program to currently licensed preschool classrooms. The capacity will remain the same with a capacity of 64 with the three classrooms. The toddler option will have a maximum capacity of up to 32 toddlers. The toddler option is for children ages 18 months - 36 months.
Two classes will be utilized for the toddler option and one classroom will be utilized as the preschool classroom. Medications are stored in the office. Cleaning disinfectants are appropriately stored and inaccessible to children. Toxic and hazardous items are inaccessible to children. Facility representatives stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises. LPA observed a functional carbon monoxide detector. LPA observed sign-in/sign-out binders.
The preschool license has three outdoor play yards. Facility Representatives explained that the Toddler Option program will utilize one yard exclusively. A waiver is requested as the toddler play yard will accommodate 28 children. No more than 28 children will use the toddler play yard at one time. A second waiver is requested for use of the preschool side play yard. Facility representatives understands that the Toddler Option program may not share the outdoor play yard at the same time with other preschool programs. LPA observed safe and sufficient amount of equipment and toys in the outdoor play yards. There are no bodies of water on the premises.
Prior to licensure of the toddler option the following is needed:

This facility evaluation report was reviewed and discussed with Director Ryan Suarez, Director Tonya Vorobets, and Business Admin Heather Le Monte. A Notice of Site Visit was provided, which must remain posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted. |
