13 | On September 10, 2021 at approximately 8:45 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alize Tillery met with Director Nancy Ennis, to conclude the investigation and deliver the findings for the above allegation. During today’s inspection, LPA observed 42 children in care, supervised by 7 staff.
LPA Tillery conducted the complaint investigation. The complaint alleged that staff failed to provide adequate supervision, resulting in a child being hurt by another daycare child. LPA interviewed the reporting party, daycare children, parents and staff who oversee the children while in care. During the investigation, LPA observed the children positively interacting with one another, and staff were providing 100% supervision.
Based on the investigation and interviews conducted, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. As a result, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
LPA reviewed the report with Director and provided copies. Appeal Rights were issued and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit was issued and Director acknowledges it must remain posted for 30 days. |
