Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Bello arrived at the facility at approximately 1:00pm and met with Assistant Director Hanna Battiste to close a complaint investigation, regarding the above allegation. Today's census was 122 Children with 17 teachers. LPA gathered documents pertaining to the investigation, made observations and conducted interviews. It was alleged that the facility did not manage a child’s behavior allowing for another child to get hurt and bullied. Parent and child interviews did not corroborate the allegation. Staff interviews had conflicting information. Based on LPA interviews and documents gathered the allegation is founded to be Unsubstantiated. Hanna stated that they do take seriously about children getting hurt emotionally or physically and try to work with the parents and children to solve these problems. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated. There were no Title 22 deficiencies during today’s investigation. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director.
