 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Bello arrived at the facility at approximately 12:45pm met with Interim Director Hannah Battiste to continue and close a complaint investigation, regarding the above allegation. Today’s census included 143 children. It was alleged that staff did not provide adequate supervision to prevent two children from pushing one another. LPA made observations, gathered documents pertaining to the investigation and conducted interviews. Parent and staff interviews did not corroborate the allegation. Based on LPA’s investigation although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated. Interim Director Hannah Battiste stated that they are confident that all their children are supervised in the classroom and the children involved were supervised during the incident in which staff perceived as children playing and not aggressive in nature.

There were no Title 22 deficiencies during today’s investigation. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director.
