On Thursday, July 14, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alize Tillery met with Director, Leah Sarmiento, to conduct an unannounced inspection to conclude the complaint investigation regarding the above allegation. Upon arrival, the census was 121 children, supervised by 21 staff.
During the inspection, LPA reviewed staff files andd conducted interviews with reporting party, parents, staff and children.

It was alleged that there were unqualified staff working in Room H. Based on LPA file review of staff files, teachers that work in room H are all qualified teachers.
It was also alleged that the program wrongfully terminated children's enrollment. Based on the program's Admission Agreement, the program may "dismiss a child without prior notice, if in the sole opinion of the school, it is in the best interest of the child or the school to do so".

Based on LPA record review of staff files and review of program's Admission Agreement, and information obtained during Director interview, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

LPA reviewed the report with Director and appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
