25 | On March 4, 2022, at approximately 8:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alize Tillery met with Director Christie Erhart for the purpose of a case management inspection. During today's visit, there were 108 children and 31 staff.
The purpose of the visit is to follow up on an incident that Licensing was made aware of, via the media, regarding a substitute teacher that was arrested at the facility, during operation hours, on 2/17/2022. According to the article, the substitute teacher was arrested by the Napa Police at the facility due to not having a home address for him.
LPA followed up with the Director on 2/25/2022. According to the Director, although children were present that day, no children were around where the arrest occurred. LPA also discussed reporting requirements with Director. Director submitted an Unusual Incident Report to LPA Tillery on 2/28/2022.
During today's visit, no deficiencies were cited. An exit interview was conducted and a notice of site visit was given which must remain posted for 30 days. |
