13 | On Thursday, May 12, 2022, at approximately 12:40 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alize Tillery, met with Director Christie Erhart to close the complaint investigation for the above allegation. Upon arrival, today’s census was 97 children, supervised by 21 staff.
During the course of this investigation, LPA Tillery interviewed the complainant and staff. During the investigation, information obtained during interviews revealed that staff were not allowing parent entry unless it was by appointment, per the districts request.
This poses a potential risk to children in care. LPA reviewed health and safety code with Director which states that parents have the right to enter and inspect the facility without an advance notice.
Based on information obtained during interview, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED.
Exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with Director. Appeal rights were provided as well as a Notice of Site Visit which is to remain posted for 30 days. |
