children both indoors and outdoors via labeled bottles. LPA observed full legal signatures of authorized representatives in sign in/sign out binfers. There are no firearms nor bodies of water on the premises. LPA observed a functional carbon monoxide detector.
Staff files were reviewed. Most staff present today has current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. LPA observed immunization records and documentation of the educational background, training, and/or experience and AB 1207 Mandated Reporter training certificates.
Children's records were reviewed. Each child's file contained an emergency card, consent for emergency medical treatment and notifications of children’s and parent’s rights.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s personnel and administrative records. A staff interview was conducted with the Director, Patti Newton. Director stated that annual fees have been paid. Director stated that required lead testing of drinking water AB2370 is currently in progress and was delayed due to a miscommunication. Lead testing has already been completed for infant program.
