On 07/22/2021 at 9:20 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeevun Birk-Miller conducted a complaint investigation for the above allegation and met with Director, Alyssa DiPippo. It was alleged that several children engaged in inappropriate sexual behaviors while staff members were helping other children or looking at their phones. During the investigation LPA Birk-Miller interviewed staff, children, and parents. LPA also reviewed children’s files and other documents relating to the allegation. Staff interviews revealed that they do not engage in conversations on their phones but use them to check the time, look up items related to activities, and communicate with other staff. It was also stated there are plans in place for supervising children. None of the staff interviewed observed any inappropriate sexual behaviors among the children. However, they have overheard some inappropriate conversations on the playground and in the classroom, which was stopped immediately. Interviews with children did not reveal any disclosures that they were shown or talked to about body parts by their friends or other children.
