***THIS IS AN AMENDED REPORT***Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeevun Birk-Miller met with Director, Casey Alvarado to deliver complaint findings for the above allegations. It was alleged a staff member yelled at a child because the child was demonstrating behavior issues, as well as, made an inappropriate comment to the child. It was also alleged that two staff members had a verbal altercation in the presence of children. During the investigation LPA conducted interviews with staff, children, and parents, and reviewed records at the facility. Interviews with children revealed that they have never observed teachers yell at children. However, one interview revealed a child observed a teacher get upset with a child but did not yell. Staff members interviewed stated they have never heard or observed any teachers yell at the children. Parent interviews revealed conflicting information.

Interviews with staff and children regarding the allegation involving two staff members who engaged in a verbal altercation in the presence of children, revealed inconsistent information that could neither support or negate the allegation. Children interviewed did not reveal any information about teachers yelling or arguing, but one staff member stated they observed two teachers having a disagreement but that it did not rise to the level of an
