13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeremey McClain met with Director Pamela Deets to close a complaint investigation. Upon arrival, LPA observed four infants supervised by two staff members in one room, and 11 infants supervised by three staff members in another room. LPA concluded interviews with staff and made observations to the infant rooms during today’s inspection. It was alleged that facility operates out of ratio, and that staff members inappropriately handled children in care. During the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, made observations at the facility, and reviewed files and documents. Based on the evidence that was gathered, LPA determined there was not significant evidence to corroborate the allegations or determine that they are undoubtedly false. The preponderance of evidence standard has not been met, therefore the allegations are determined to be unsubstantiated. There were no Title 22 deficiencies as a result investigation. LPA reviewed this report with Director and provided Appeal Rights and a Notice of Site Visit that must be posted for 30 days. |
