13 | On 3/8/2023, at approximately 11:35 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alize Tillery, made an unannounced visit to further investigate and conclude the complaint investigation, regarding the allegation listed above. During today's inspection, LPA was assisted by Director, Crystal Jennings. Upon arrival, LPA observed 8 toddler children, supervised by 2 staff and 6 infant children, supervised by 2 staff.
It was alleged that a day care child sustained bruising (fingerprints) while in care. During the course of the investigation, LPA reviewed facility records and conducted interviews with reporting party, parents and staff. Interviews with reporting party (RP) revealed that RP did not observe the bruise but is reporting on hearsay as a Mandated Reporter. Parent and staff interviews revealed that staff communicate with the parents if their child receives a scratch/bruise/mark while in care, via procare connect app and at pick up as well. Parent interviews did not reveal anything concerning regarding the program. During LPA visits on 2/16/2023 and 3/8/2023, staff were observed to have 100% supervision of the children and were caring for the children in a gentle manner.
