Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gagandeep Singh met with the site supervisor, Eloisa Catalan-Orens, for a case management inspection. The facility informed the Department that facility's play yard will be under construction and facility requested a new area to be used as play yard. Purpose of today's inspection was to inspect the new play yard before it can be used for children.

During today's inspection, LPA inspected the play yard with the site supervisor. The facility is located on a school property and will be using portion of school play yard. The facility's play yard has been designated by yellow painted line on the ground. Facility informed the Department that the facility children will not be using the play yard during the time of school children using the play yard. The whole play yard has hard ground and no play structure. During inspection, LPA measured the play yard and found that total area of play yard is 3598.853 sq. ft. which meets the space requirement for 30 children in care. During inspection, LPA did not observe any hazard in the play yard. There are no bodies of water in the play yard. Per site supervisor, the facility staff will be bringing drinking water with them, while the children will be using play yard.

LPA did not observe any hazard in the play yard. As of today, the new area is approved to be used as play yard for the children. Copy of this report is reviewed and provided to the site supervisor. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days.
