Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Karyn Guerra and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Keven Peters met with the Education Content Specialist, Judy Ellis to conduct a case management visit for a capacity increase. LPA toured the facility, no children were in care. Facility requests the addition of Room 1 to previously licensed Rooms 2 and 3 for an increase of capacity to the license from 50 preschool children to 72 preschool children. LPA has received the required fire clearance for the new capacity of 72 children and is on file with the Licensing Agency.

Rooms 2 and 3 of the facility were previously measured during the pre-licensing visit and none of the usable space within the facility has changed since licensure. The newly added Room 1 was measured previously during a case management visit on 5/9/2019, and has not changed since.

Indoor Activity Space
Total square footage of the indoor play space in Room 1 measures at 868 square feet. The indoor square feet will accommodate the requested increase in capacity of 22 children.

Outdoor Active Space
The outdoor play area is fenced. There are shaded areas including canopies. The outdoor activity space was measured. Total = 11140.64 square feet, sufficient outdoor activity space to accommodate the total capacity of 72 preschool aged children.

Effective today, Wednesday, August 7th, 2019, LPA Guerra is granting a capacity increase for up to 72 preschool aged children.
