13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Christopher Bello and Jeremey McClain arrived at the facility to close a complaint allegation regarding the above allegations. LPAs met with administrator Lucky Ranatunga. Upon arrival, LPAs observed eight infants with three teachers. During investigation LPAs conducted interviews, made observations and gathered documents pertaining to the investigation. It was alleged that the facility had four personal rights violations alleging that “staff do not ensure that infants receive adequate attention”, “staff speaks inappropriately to children”, “staff does not ensure that children are adequately fed” and “staff handles children in a rough manner”. Observations did not corroborate the allegations. The majority of the interviews did not corroborate the allegations. Lucky stated, that parents stated to him that they do not believe that the allegations are true. Lucky stated that he will speak with and train the staff to be more careful when they are around the children. Based on LPAs' investigation, although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are Unsubstantiated. There were no Title 22 deficiencies during today’s investigation. An exit interview was conducted and a Notice of Site Visit posted. |
