25 | Licensing Program Analyst Rosie Pitts met with Enrollment Director Erwina Pascual-Golamco for an unannounced annual random visit. LPA toured the facility inside and out including all activity and classroom spaces, restrooms, food service and outdoor play areas. LPA observed 9 infants being cared for by 3 staff members. Director was reminded never to exceed the conditions, limitations and capacity specified on the license
Toxic and hazardous items are appropriately stored and inaccessible to infants. Furniture and materials are in good condition. Playground equipment and surfaces are free of loose or sharp parts. The areas around or under climbing equipment are cushioned with materials to absorb the fall. The infant indoor and outdoor space is physically separate from the preschool. Infant changing tables are in safe/sanitary condition, and within arms reach of a sink. Toileting facilities are in safe and sanitary condition. Sufficient napping equipment was available. All infants, including those napping in cribs, are under visual observation at all times. The food preparation space is free of litter. All food was protected against contamination. Trash cans containing solid waste had lids. Uncontaminated drinking water was readily available to children both indoors and outdoors. Facility utilizes an electronic sign in and sign out sheet. Infant bottles, dishes and containers are appropriately labeled. LPA observed proper storage of medication, equipment and supplies.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services (IMS). LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records.
