13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Karyn Guerra met with Licensee, Danelle Ingalls, for the purpose of a complaint inspection regarding the above allegation. A tele-inspection was conducted due to COVID-19. Licensee denied that children are locked in the bathroom and stated that children are given space in the bathroom or the school age classroom to get their energy out when having an emotional outburst and return to the classroom when ready. Licensee stated that she stays and supervises the child during this time and they are not held against their will. Licensee stated that parents are notified via telephone when the event occurs and tries having parents talk to child. LPA conducted interviews and observations and found the above allegation to be unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is Unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted in which the report was reviewed with the Licensee. Typed name in signature box denotes electronic signature of Licensee. Report, appeal rights, and Notice of Site Visit will be provided to Licensee via email. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days. |
