25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Goodell met with Director Julie Jenkins for an unannounced Annual Inspection. The facility’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm. Upon arrival, LPA observed 16 children in the outdoor activity area with two staff and 19 children with three staff in the downstairs preschool classrooms. Staff members present during inspection have all been finger-print cleared through Community Care Licensing.
LPA toured the facility including three activity/classroom areas, food service areas and restrooms. Director stated that the facility provides breakfast, lunch and three snacks. LPA observed current menus and activity schedules posted in the entrance of the facility. LPA observed cleaning compounds are inaccessible to children. Director stated that the facility does not have medications. LPA observed outdoor activity space and playground equipment. LPA also observed drinking water is made readily available to children both indoors and outdoors.
LPAs reviewed children’s files which included Identification and Emergency Information. LPAs also reviewed staff's educational background/transcripts qualifications. LPA observed at least one staff member present has current Pediatric CPR/First Aid that expires 8/2020. LPA observed Child Care Facility Roster (LIC9040) and Fire Drill Log.
