On January 14, 2022 at 9:25 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Josiah Gathing and Alize Tillery met with licensees Brenda Fitz-Hoisington and Ashley Brown for the purpose of an annual required one-year inspection. The facility days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. At the time of the inspection 1 infant and 1 preschool age child were in care. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance.

A health and safety evaluation was conducted in all areas accessible to children. During the inspection, the licensee requested that all bedrooms be made off limits. Off limits areas consist of: 3 bedrooms, master bathroom, backyard, shed. LPAs observed a full 2A10BC fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Per licensee, there are no weapons in the home. Toxic and hazardous items were inaccessible to children. Safe toys were observed in children’s play area.

During the inspection, LPAs found the children’s files to contain all required documents. LPAs also observed all required staff files. Children’s roster and fire drill log were made available during the inspection. LPAs observed Mandated Reporter certificates for Brenda expiring 2/26/2022 and Ashley expiring 4/5/2022. LPAs observed CPR and First Aid certificates for Brenda expiring 12/19/2023 and Ashley expiring 7/30/2023. Required postings were observed near the entrance.
