13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Rosie Pitts and Tanya Washington met with Licensee Maria English to deliver findings regarding the above allegation. Upon arrival, LPAs observed 11 daycare children being supervised by Licensee and assistant.
During the investigation, LPAs toured the facility, conducted observations, interviews with staff, children and parents. LPAs also reviewed facility files and obtained records relevant to the complaint allegation.
Regarding the complaint, “Lack of supervision resulting in child sustaining injuries”, LPAs received conflicting information from interviews conducted. RP states that the child was not being supervised when they sustained three separate injuries. Injuries sustained did not require professional medical attention or an Unusual Incident Report for Child Care Licensing.
