Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvira Sierra met Licenee, Charol Barrett to deliver findings regarding the above complaint allegations. It was alleged that Licensee had a verbal altercation in front of daycare children and an adult in the home uses profanity in the presence of daycare children. Today's census is 10 children (4 preschool and 6 school age).

During the investigation LPA reviewed records and obtained copies of pertaining documents. LPA also conducted interviews with Licensee, staff, parents, and children. None of them disclosed ever witness Licensee having an altercation nor have they witnessed any adult using profane language in front of the daycare children. Licensee stated that she never had an altercation in front of the daycare children and no adults ever used profane language in the presence of daycare children. Based on the investigation conducted, although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur; therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.
No Title 22 Deficiencies cited. An exit interview was conducted in which the report was reviewed and discussed with Licensee. Appeal rights were discussed, and a printed version was given to Licensee
