attend and stay with children. Events that are held during day care hours, are held during transition time to allow as many children as possible (including siblings) the opportunity to participate while parents pick up or drop off. Interviews did not indicate children leave the premises, except to go to school or field trips. Licensee was reminded to inform parents of the importance of being on time picking up and dropping off children.
Based on lack of clear corroborating evidence, the above allegation could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur; therefore, the finding is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
It was alleged that Licensee does not keep facility yard free of debris.
Parent interviews did not indicate a concern with animal excrement on the playground. Those interviewed stated the yard is clean and see staff wiping and cleaning tables. Staff state the animals are let out of their pens/cages after hours and during nap time. Staff stated they clean and wash the yard and play area before children arrive in the mornings and at nap time before they go outside. LPA made several visits and did not observe animal excrement while children were outside.
Based on lack of clear corroborating evidence, the above allegation could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur; therefore, the finding is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted in which the report was reviewed and discussed with the Licensee, Laura Randall. LPA provided a copy of the report and Appeal Rights to Licensee. A Notice of Site Visit was posted by LPA and Licensee understands it must remain posted for 30 days. A Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
