1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	At 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Karyn Guerra met with Licensee, Hiresha De Silva, for the purpose of a case management - Licensee initiated inspection. LPA observed a census of 53 children supervised by 6 staff. The facility requests to add a toddler component of 30 children to the license. The facility also requests an increase in total capacity from 60 to 90 children. A fire clearance was received on 1/30/2023 and is on file with the department. The toddler component will be in the existing infant indoor and outdoor activity space. A location change is approved for the infant facility and will be effective Monday, February 6th, 2023. INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE: The preschool classroom space was previously measured at 2363.9 sqft. The toddler classroom space was previously measured at 1053.7 sqft. There is an additional 120.2 sqft of previously encumbered crib space that will now be added to the indoor toddler activity space. Toddler indoor activity space of 1173.9 sqft will accommodate the capacity increase of 30 toddlers. The total facility indoor activity space measures 3537.8 sqft and will accommodate the total capacity of 90 children. LPA inspected the toddler classrooms and observed adequate tables, chairs, and napping mats. LPA also observed a changing table and age appropriate materials and equipment for children. There is a total of 2 toilets and 3 sinks in the toddler building. OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE: The preschool outdoor space was previously measured at 6137.5 sqft and has not changed. There will be an additional 2775.5 sqft of outdoor toddler space added which will accommodate the capacity increase of 30 toddlers. The total outdoor space measures 8913 report continued on 809-C.

sqft and will accommodate the total capacity of 90 children. LPA observed age appropriate equipment and materials in the toddler play yard. There is foam cushioning beneath the play structure to absorb a fall.

The capacity increase and addition of the toddler component is approved and will be effective Monday, February 6th, 2023, per the Licensee's request. No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. This report was reviewed with the Licensee and an exit interview was conducted. A notice of site visit was provided and shall remain posted for a period of 30 days for parental review.
