On March 26th, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Soleil Marx and Fabian Schwartz met with Licensee, Sonya Harris, for a case management inspection based on deficiencies observed during an inspection. LPAs observed a census of two children in care being supervised by the Licensee

LPAs observed an infant with three blankets inside of the pack n play while sleeping. Licensee stated she was unaware of the safe sleep regulations due to not caring for infants in several years. LPAs provided Licensee with assistance regarding safe sleep regulations.

LPAs were unable to review records of a children's roster during the inspection, due to the Licensee not being able to locate it. LPAs provided Licensee with a new blank children's roster. Licensee filled out children's roster to the best of her ability and provided the new roster to LPAs by time of departure.

Based on Today’s inspection, one type A and one type B Title 22 deficiencies are being cited on 809-D

Licensee was informed that this report dated 03/26/2024 documents one Type A citation which shall be posted for 30 consecutive days. The Licensee shall also provide a copy of this licensing report to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification.

Exit interview conducted. Report reviewed with Licensee, Sonya Harris. Appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for next 30 days.
