On December 21, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst’s (LPA’s) Corina Beckby & Stacey Williams met with Facility Representative, Jessica Dawson-Brown for an unannounced required 3 year annual inspection. LPA toured the facility including all activity and classroom spaces, restrooms, food service and outdoor play areas. Today’s census included 11 children being supervised by 1 staff member. The Facility Representative was reminded never to exceed the conditions, limitations and capacity specified on the license. The facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM.

LPA inspected all activity and classroom spaces, restrooms, food service, and outdoor play areas. Hazardous items are inaccessible to children. Furniture and equipment are in operable and safe condition. Playground equipment and surfaces are free of loose or sharp parts, and adequate cushioning was observed in areas underneath climbing equipment. Canopies are used for shade. Toileting facilities are in safe, sanitary, and operating condition. The floors appeared clean throughout the facility. The food preparation space is free of litter and all food was protected against contamination. Storage containers with solid waste have tight-fitting covers in each classroom. Medications are stored in a central location. LPA observed a functional carbon monoxide detector.

Breakfast and morning snack are provided by the facility. Parents provide lunch. Noncontaminated drinking water is readily available to children both indoors and outdoors.
