13 | On April 18, 2023 at approximately 08:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pascual met with Licencee Emilia Valencia to deliver complaint findings for the allegations mentioned above. LPA observed 5 children in care being supervised by the licensee and assistant.
It was alleged that a day care child was left in soiled clothing and dropped off at a local school without supervision. Through interviews with the licensee, the assistant, a daycare child and staff at the local school, as well as the Reporting Party, LPA Pascual has found that the child did have soiled clothes, but there is not sufficient enough evidence to prove that this occurred while the child was in care. Further, when LPA Pascual interviewed the staff at the local school, it was found the child was dropped off before the school officially opened, but office staff were present and the child's care was transferred to the school, when the staff allowed the child to wait inside the office until breakfast time.
