32 | A sample of staff and children's records were reviewed. Required postings, a current roster, disaster drill log and proof of immunization's were observed. Current EMSA Certified pediatric CPR and first aid certification was verified for the Licensee expiring 05/2021 and her son's certification expires 07/2021.
LPA discussed proposed safe sleep regulations and lead exposure regulations. LPA provided the Child Care Advocates Program email address: childcareadvocatesprogram@dss.ca.gov, so Licensee can request to be added to the distribution list to receive Quarterly Updates.
This facility evaluation report was reviewed and discussed with the licensee. A notice of site visit was provided and should remain posted for 30 days for parental review. Licensee was encouraged to visit the Department website at WWW.CCLD.CA.GOV for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information. A copy of this report will remain on file for a period of 3 years for public review upon request.
Effective today's date 02/14/2020, LPA will approve the capacity increase to serve up to either 14 children, two (2) of which must be at least 6 years of age and no more than three (3) may be infants; or 12 children, four (4) of which may be infants. Infants are children under the age of 2. Licensee is aware that if an assistant is not present the requirements convert to small license regulations.
