25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Seychelle De Luca and Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) Larissa Juarez met with Applicants Aubrey Green and Nicole Brann for the purpose of an announced pre-licensing, change of ownership inspection. Applicants currently have a preschool license under a partnership (#343620671), and are changing to an LLC. Applicants request a preschool license to serve 24 preschool children from two to six years of age. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:45 PM and 3:45 PM. Applicants acknowledge that school-age children may not be present during preschool hours of operation.
LPA and AGPA provided LIC311A. Applicants acknowledge that the following documents must be posted at all times: License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Personal Rights, Parents' Rights Poster, car seat law, and daily schedule. LPA and AGPA discussed the forms that must be in each child's and each staff member's file. LPA and AGPA observed the sign in and sign out binders. Parents will provide morning and afternoon snacks. Lunch and naps are not provided as this facility has two part day programs.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
LPA and AGPA observed age appropriate equipment and toys for preschool children. There is a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink in the kitchen. Medications will be kept in the kitchen in an area that is inaccessible to children. Snacks provided by parents will be stored in the kitchen and Applicants acknowledge that the facility must have additional provisions on site. There are two first aid kits that will be kept in the kitchen and children's bathroom. LPA and AGPA observed cleaning disinfectants stored in a locked cabinet in the kitchen. Applicants stated there are no poisons on the premises. LPA and AGPA observed there is a sufficient amount of cubbies. LPA and AGPA observed water is readily available to children.
