32 | LPAs used measurements on file, previously measured on 6/8/2021. The total outdoor capacity space is 3835 square feet. The outdoor space will accommodate 20 children. There is a waiver on file allowing the facility to share the outdoor space with the Toddler children, under the Preschool License. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024).
LPAs discussed with the Director the importance of Children’s Personal Rights. Director was encouraged to visit the Department website at WWW.CCLD.CA.GOV for trainings, child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information.
Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with Director and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed Director of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days, and in the areas observed no deficiencies were cited.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Director, Mallory Seifert.
PRIOR TO APPROVAL OF THE CAPACITY INCREASE THE FOLLOWING MUST BE COMPLETED:
1. Submit an Updated LIC 200A
2. Submit an updated Facility Sketch
3. Submit a Picture of the fixed Infant Courtyard space
4. Revised fire clearance
5. Pending Licensing Program Manager Seychelle De Luca's final review. |
