NARRATIVE
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	Application Specialist (AS) Mai Lor and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jan Hoshida conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection to follow up on the required corrections from date 11/16/21. Census included one infant and one staff. AS and LPA met with Licensee Justina Onumajuru and conducted a tour of the areas that require a follow-up inspection. AS observed the following items to be corrected: 1. Wall dividers were installed to separate the infant napping area from activity space in the Bright Babies Classroom 2. The facility was observed to be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors 3. Changing table was replaced in the Bright Babies classroom 4. Sink is fixed and a second changing table was observed in the Early Explorers 5. Infant cubbies/hooks are available for the younger infants 6. Changing mat was replaced in the bathroom 7. Trash can with a tight fitting lid located in the kitchen was replaced 8. No poisons were observed on site 9. Cleaning items were separated from food items 10. Food items were appropriately stored and labeled 11. Additional toddler chairs and tables were observed 12. A wood fence that is at least 4 feet tall was installed to separate the infant play yard from the preschool play yard. 13. Patio roofing in the infant play yard was replaced 14. Playground wood fencing observed to be in good repair 15. A diaper pail was observed in the infant classroom (Report continues on subsequent LIC 809)

Fire clearance approved and received on 2/11/22.

Bright Babies classroom was re-measured with a total square footage of 172.7433. Early Explorers was previously measured on 11/16/21 with a total square footage of 326.9873. The total square footage is 499.7305 which can accommodate the requested capacity of 14 infants.

Effective today, 2/11/2022, AS approved the facility for a capacity of 14 infant children ages from birth to 24 months.

No deficiencies cited during today’s inspection.
