On March 29, 2022 at 11:30am, Application Specialist (AS) Mai Lor and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Josiah Gathing conducted an announced pre-licensing follow-up inspection. AS and LPA met with Applicant Zhen Zhen Li. Present during this inspection is current licensee Mindy Yip. Census included 51 preschool children and 8 staff. During this inspection, AS and LPA observed the following:

1. Additional chairs, cots, and tables, first aid kits were purchased
2. The sinks and both restrooms and toilet in bathroom #2 (Boys) were fixed
3. Hole around drainage pipe was fixed and sprinkler area was made inaccessible in the outdoor play yard located in the parking lot
4. Gap between concrete and fencing located in the front outdoor playground of the main building was enclosed

AS remeasured the outdoor play area located in the parking lot. The total square footage of this area is 677.9129 square feet. The total outdoor activity space is 2,615.2328 square feet. Total maximum children allowed in the outdoor activity space is 34 preschool children.

The following items below must be corrected prior to licensure:

1. Insufficient outdoor waiver request with a schedule and a maximum of 34 preschool children.
2. Waiver request to use the indoor gym as a supplement to the outdoor activity space with a maximum of 11 preschool children.
3. All sinks and toilets will need to be cleaned
4. Classroom #1 door to the back playground needs to be fixed
5. Revised fire clearance.
