32 | Ms. Mendoza stated she has hired a contractor to draw up and submit engineering plans to secure the building permits for the previously built structure. Once all recommended modifications are complete, the Elk Grove Code Enforcement will issue Ms. Mendoza a new occupancy Permit. It is important to note that all of the aforementioned additions were in place prior to licensure.
Based on supporting evidence of interviews with City of Elk Grove Code Enforcement, there was no evidence to corroborate that the facility poses a safety hazard to children in care. The information obtained during the investigation revealed inconsistencies. Therefore, the allegations listed above have been determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. An unsubstantiated finding means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation did or did not occur.
