25 | On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nelson Zuniga conducted a case management tele-inspection via Facetime with the Director, D. Osorio, due to COVID-19 and DPH guidelines of social distancing.
A tour of the facility was conducted via Facetime.
Currently, this facility is licensed for day care in the following classroom A, B, C, and D. Current capacity is 51 children. Licensee is requesting to add a classroom, Classroom "E" to the license without adding any children to the current capacity. Classroom E has one toilet and two sinks. Per licensee this room will be used to help meet the social distance recommendation. A fire inspection was conducted by the local fire department and a fire clearance was issued for the above classrooms and a capacity of 51 children.
A tour of the facility was given to LPA via Facetime. Licensee understands that children are always to be visually supervised. Classroom E is in a separate building from the other classrooms. Licensee understands that children will be escorted by a qualified staff any time there is a transition.
Classroom E meets all requirements and can be used as an additional classroom effective today, 09/30/20. Facility capacity will remain at 51 children.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was reviewed. “Licensee was provided a copy of the appeal rights (LIC 9058 12/15); Notice of Site Visit issued.
A copy of this report must be made available to the public for 3 years. A read receipt will be in lieu of the signature for this Tele-Inspection report. A copy of this report was sent via email for licensee to print and maintain if requested by the public, for 3 years. |
