25 | On the above noted date and time Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Diana Brasel placed a telephone call via Face time to Sharon Novela with FUSD. Arrangements had been made for Ms. Novela to be at the Pre-School (PS) site room 41 located on the school grounds of North Tamarind Elementary. The purpose of the visit is to process the approved pending Increase from 22 to 24 children in room 41. LPA conducted the case management tele-visit via face-time, due to COVID-19 and social distancing. A cleared Fire Clearance was granted on 03/31/2021. A tour of the class room and the children's restrooms were toured. Currently a granted waiver is in place to share the restrooms outside of the classroom with the school age children. LPA viewed the waiver posted along with additional licensing posted documents. LPA reviewed staff files during the visit. Currently the PS are doing distant learning only no children are on site. There was 1 teacher and 2 aides that were present upon the start of the visit. The program currently has two distant learning session.
LPA did measurements for the classroom prior. It was determined that the classroom measurements are sufficient to hold 24 children. There are sufficient toilets, sinks and the outdoor play space is more than adequate. The classroom also has a drinking fountain inside the room with a sink.
The pending increase will be processed for a total capacity of 24 children.
This report will be sent via email to the provided email address with an attached read receipt. A copy of the LIC 9213 will be sent via email along with the report. The read receipt will be used in lieu of the signature on the report. LIC 9213 must be posted at the facility for 30 days.
All reports shall be maintained for three years. |
