32 | Director stated the first time the Guardian of Child #1 called the facility they stated they were not feeling well and it was possible Child #1 may have have had a stomach bug. Director stated the second call from the Guardian of Child #1 was to inquire about the type of milk the facility provides to children. Director stated Child #1's Guardian called 9 days later with the allegation Child #1 drank urine on the playground. During this time span Child #1 was in continued attendance of the facility. LPA inquired if Child #1 was present during the time of tele-inspection. Director stated Child #1 was no longer enrolled at the facility; however, they were transferred to another affiliated facility in a different city on December 14, 2020.
LPA was unable to interview Child #1 due to them not being present in the facility at the time of tele-inspection. It was alleged by the Guardian of Child #1 that four boys urinated into a cup and made Child #1 drink it on the playground. The provided UIR and interviews with staff did not indicate the names or likeness of the involved individuals.
Based on LPA's observations, interviews and information obtained during the visit, there appeared to be no violation of Title 22 Regulations pertaining to the reported incident.
An exit interview was conducted with facility Director, Amanda Carter. LPA Giese provided the Director with a copy of this report via email, LPA asked the Director to acknowledge receipt of the email. An electronic “read receipt” was also attached. The electronic read receipt or reply of the emailed report acknowledges receipt of this report. A copy of this report and notice of site visit was emailed to the Director during this Tele-inspection on December 16, 2020.
No deficiencies sited at this time. A copy of this report must be made available for the next three years. |
