32 | * Bathrooms adjoining each room were toured and LPA noted all toilets , sinks were sanitary and operational. LPA observed soap, paper towel and toilet paper and water tested at a safe temperature. Each classroom has a water fountain or water pitcher, disposable cups, cubbies with children's names identified and cots (15 cots for the full time program).
*All flooring was found to be clean and safe
**Teacher/child ratio observed, care and supervision were monitored and discussed, 6 children's records were reviewed, parent board observed and fire drills are done monthly. LPA observed the standard size Fire extinguisher in every room to be operable with a service date of July 25, 2019.
*Trash cans/storage containers for solid waste had tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair.
* LPA observed and inventoried First Aid supplies were which were in every room. A review of medication policy, including administering, labeling, and storage. LPA observed on file medication training on file for the Supervisor.
*Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated.
*Outdoor area and equipment were inspected for safety, cushioning material(deep foam rubber), good repair and age appropriateness, LPA noted shade canopy, and drinking water from water coolers and disposable cups. The play area is bordered by a solid 7 ft tall wall ensuring children's safety. LPA also observed rubber padding around the wooden pillars to further ensure children's safety. There are no bodies of water on the premises.
*Isolation area is in the front office.
